24/25 April Easter Championships in Nelson
Run in the Trafalgar Centre this is a consistently good double comp (one complete competition on each day) -well run, and always with a good overseas couple. Highly recommended. Click on link for details – entries due 1 April 2011.
7 May Harbour City Champs Lower Hutt Town Hall. A well-known local competition this one particularly caters to beginner dancers with many non-registered events and a large number of children’s events.
14 May Metropolitan Dancesport Competition.
Featuring Jonny Williams, of Dancing with the Stars fame, this competitions looks set to be an excellent competition with a wide range of local and other New Zealand dancers rumored to be attending. Entry details here
